BLACKEYES is a personal data removal service, operated from the United Kingdom. It finds where your personal information is exposed across data brokers and people-search sites, gets it removed, and keeps checking that it stays removed.
What it actually does
Most people have a home address, phone number, date of birth and family connections sitting on sites they have never heard of. BLACKEYES starts with a free exposure check that shows what is out there, then submits the correct opt-out or erasure request to each source that holds it — and keeps watching, because brokers relist.
The UK coverage is the part that other services skip. US-focused removal tools stop at US people-search sites and leave the sources that actually expose UK home addresses untouched: 192.com, CACI, the open electoral register and Companies House each need a different route, and BLACKEYES handles them directly. Why it stopped doing investigations
BLACKEYES began as an open-source intelligence tool — it researched people from an email address and produced a report. That product was retired from this site in 2026.
The two jobs pull in opposite directions. A service that helps you find out what is public about someone and a service that gets your own information taken down cannot credibly share a front door, and a privacy product should not be the thing that made your data easier to find. The investigation work is being rebuilt as a separate product on its own domain. Nothing on this site looks anyone up but you, on your own verified email address.
How it is run
BLACKEYES is a UK sole trader operation, funded entirely by subscriptions. It sells one thing — data removal, on a monthly or annual plan — and the price is on the pricing page. There is no advertising, no free tier funded by data, and nothing about you is sold, shared or traded. How that is enforced is set out on security and GDPR.
It is the data controller for the personal data it processes under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and operates under the laws of England and Wales. Removal outcomes depend on each source honouring a lawful request, so BLACKEYES reports what each one actually did rather than promising a result it does not control.
